Baby Namings
A naming day is an informal occasion gathering friends and family together to celebrate the birth and naming of your child. It is generally not a religious occasion and does not hold any legal binding or legal status.

Together we can create a meaningful naming ceremony that is the perfect way to welcome your child into the family and community.
Some parents select readings, poems or songs to celebrate, some choose to include a ritual or blessing in their ceremony and some acknowledge the significance of the name chosen for their child. Like in a religious christening, some parents choose to invite godparents or mentors to act as significant adults in their child's life.

The ceremony does not need to be serious or formal, it can be a lighthearted, personal and fun occasion for everyone involved.

Funerals
A funeral should be as individual as the person it commemorates. But it is more than that. It is a reflection of love and memory, of relationships and connections.

A funeral ceremony plays an important role in the grieving process and in helping people come to terms with their loss. I am very committed to providing a funeral service that reflects the wishes, beliefs, values and cultural background of the family and their loved one so they find some comfort in the funeral process.

When you lose someone you love, planning a funeral can be difficult.
Please get in touch when you are ready so that I can guide you through the process and create a memorable ceremony for your loved one.
Vow Renewals
A vow renewal ceremony is a celebration of your love, lasting happiness and commitment to each other whether you have been married for 50 years or only a short time. As you have already satisfied all the legal and social requirements for marriage, reaffirming your vows is something you do merely because you want to. It is a chance to celebrate what you've accomplished and look ahead to what is still to come.

Each vow renewal ceremony I perform is entirely personalised, to suit the needs of the individual couple - you might like to reaffirm the vows you actually made on your wedding day, or you may prefer to write new vows which reflect the time you have shared together.
